The Consejo Regulador de la D.O.P. Cereza del Jerte has been awarded a grant of 58,458.40 €. and the Agrupación de Cooperativas Valle del Jerte S.C.L. a grant of 10,500.00 €. 10,500.00 from the European aid program, applied for jointly, in the call for aid for the promotion of agricultural products and foodstuffs in quality schemes of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura within the framework of the Strategic Program of the CAP 2023-2027, co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and the Regional Government of Extremadura (Decree 79/2023 of 26 July, DOE no. 168 of 31/08/2023) and the Resolution of 25 July 2024 (DOE no. 150 of 02/08/2024) for the 2024-2025 campaign.
The objective of the aid is to promote the production and marketing of agri-food products of differentiated quality through communication, promotional and advertising actions to increase consumer awareness of the product and encourage the purchase of the certified product. To this end, numerous promotional actions have been carried out aimed at prescribers and end consumers (regional, national and international) such as: tastings, public presentations and product samples; communication campaign in online media, television, screens in public places and recording of resources for dissemination in these media; strategic studies and corporate image design; promotional material for distribution such as brand-pages, tasting cases…
