The Consejo Regulador de la D.O.P. Cereza del Jerte has received a subsidy of 63,515.08 €. and Agrupación de Cooperativas Valle del Jerte S.C.L. for 7,422.80 €. of the European aid program, applied for jointly, in the call for aid for the promotion of agricultural and food products in quality schemes in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura within the framework of the Strategic Program of the CAP 2023-2027, co-financed by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) and the Regional Government of Extremadura (Decree 79/2023 of July 26, DOE nº 168 of 31/08/2023).
The objective of the aid is to promote the production and marketing of agri-food products of differentiated quality through communication, promotional and advertising actions to increase consumer awareness of the product and encourage the purchase of the certified product. To this end, numerous promotional actions have been carried out aimed at prescribers and end consumers (regional, national and international) such as: tastings, public presentations and shipments of product samples; communication campaign in online media, television, screens in public places and recording of resources for dissemination in these media; strategic studies and redesign of corporate image; promotional material for distribution such as agendas, brand-pages, tasting cases, etc.
